The trip

Palermo has ancient origins and you can breathe its centuries-old history just by walking in his streets and admiring his artistic beauties. Its gastronomic traditions are excellent too: the great cuisine varieties you can find here manage to fuse perfectly, giving life to peculiar dishes, with unique flavors and scents, that only a crossroad city like Palermo can offer.

DAY 1 Arrival at Palermo Airport, private transfer to Palermo and check-in. Our first gastronomic experience will be an italian must…pizza!!! It will be served in his gourmet version, made with organic flour.

*DAY 2 All the day will be dedicated to the discovery of the city with a guided tour and free exploration. Dinner in a typical sicilian restaurant.

DAY 3 Guided tour and tasting among the shops in Ballarò to know the Historic Market and his typical products. Cooking class in the afternoon. Dinner with the dishes cooked during the class. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 4 Day dedicated to the discovery of local gastronomy with an expert guide, who will show us some of Sicily unique flavors in his own cookery. Tasting of typical products. In the afternoon, we’ll have the chance to take a walk in the Favorita Gardens and to admire the Chinese Palace and Villa Niscemi. Dinner in a little and cozy tavern. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 5 Transfer to Corleone area. The day will be dedicated to the discovery of Palermo hinterland and its flavors. Visit to the Rapitalà Estate, one of the most important winery in all country.After that, we’ll visit the agricultural cooperative Valdibella. Dinner, check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 6 Visit to the host farmhouse, managed by Placido Rizzotto Cooperative - Libera Terra. Libera Terra is the agricultural soul of the cooperatives that run the production structures and farm the fields confiscated to the mafia. Free afternoon to enjoy this territory and its surrounding attractives, like Monreale and Corleone. Dinner in the farmhouse and overnight stay.

DAY 7 Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Palermo airport.
